FWC will monitor vessel traffic through passes in the northern Gulf of Mexico this year and volunteer observers are needed. Volunteers will sit at the point near Ft. Pickens and log vessel traffic in and out during specific times between sunrise and sunset. This will occur in May and data sheets will be submitted to the project manager. Binoculars, chairs, and umbrellas will be provided. Sun protection, water, and snacks you will need to provide. Contact director@oceanhourfl.com for specific dates/times.
