Ocean Hour hosts weekly one-hour beach cleanups to preserve our coasts. Join us Saturday mornings at our Northwest Florida cleanup sites - all are welcome!

Week of August 23rd

Please join us this weekend! Just show up with a smile, your closed toe shoes, water and sunscreen! We provide all cleanup supplies and equipment.

Saturday, August 29th

8:00am - Ocean Hour Okaloosa Shalimar Bridge Cleanup - meet at Shalimar Bridge 30.440551, -86.590337

8:30am - 11:00am Ocean Hour Fort Pickens Pier dive cleanup. See details below:

Volunteer Check in (General Cleanup Participants)

• Check in begins at 8:45 AM

• Cleanup runs from 9 AM to 11 AM

• Meet in the parking lot across from the Fort Pickens Visitor Center to sign in

Diver Check in (Divers Only)

• Diver check in begins at 8:15 AM

• All divers muster at 8:30 AM

• Water entry at 9 AM

• Meet in the parking lot across from the Fort Pickens Visitor Center to sign in

Volunteers will receive a free day pass to Gulf Islands National Seashore, a park special edition poster, and a thank you from Gulf Islands National Seashore. Diver registration required by August 27. TAP HERE TO REGISTER. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
