Two main cleanups at Naval Live Oaks and Bob Sikes Bridge. Eight volunteers at each location collected a total of 263 lbs of trash. Thanks to Lisa in Okaloosa Cty contribution of 18 more lbs.
At 22,630 lbs there is only one year in the past six more lbs were collected than year-to-date in 2022. That was 38,400 last year Good work volunteers. Only way to lower is through education and commitment

In the month of May, Sabine (Pensacola), Myrna (Pensacola), Jen (Milton) and Lisa (Okaloosa) had cleanups. The impact over the month was 718 lbs - great!

Twenty four volunteers picked up 275 lbs at Bruce, 5 collected 33 lbs at Veteran Park and 2 people gathered 192 lbs from homeless camps at Hawkshaw Lagoon park. The month’s total was 3,212 lbs

This weekend we had four cleanup locations on Saturday - Okaloosa, NLO and Bob Sikes Bridge. 33 volunteers picked up 367 lbs of litter. On Sunday along Hwy 90 84 lbs - total of 451 lbs

Along with the 315 lbs of litter picked up by 10 volunteers at Simpson River brings our monthly total to 5,041 lbs. This year’s to date total exceeds the full year lbs for 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2020. Our waterways thank you

Auburn Alumni, Christian Surfers, Navy Federal Credit Union, US Navy Recruiting Class, GB Nat’l Honor Society, NORU Class 180 and Ziro Supply collected 808 lbs at 8 sites around Pensacola beaches
Over this past weekend numerous cleanups...
resulted in 612 lbs of litter from Naval Live Oaks, Bartram Park, Graffiti Bridge, Simpson River and Jones Creek. Thanks to the 66 volunteers that spread out over the various locations
