Here it is the rest of the story on the straws from July 9th at Quietwater Beach.
We went through one of our volunteer's trash bags and pulled out all the straws she had collected. In less then one hour she picked up 156 straws. So if you think straws are not a problem look more closely at our beautiful beaches. Please ask for no straw or that your local restaurant, bar or convenience store switch to paper straws. #refusethestraw #ditchthestraw
