Across Bayfront Pkwy from Veterans Park is Hawkshaw Lagoon City Park/Nat’l Memorial to Missing Children. Even though the sign is difficult to read driving by, the pier offers a great view of Three Mile Bridge. Unfortunately there is ALOT of trash/litter not only below the bay viewing area but along the spit leading back to Bayfront. OceanHour partially cleaned up around viewing platform - 494 lbs. Thanks to visitors from Gulf Coast Citizen Diplomacy Council (Uganda, Mozambique, and Malawi) for 100 lbs at Wayside Park and Tammy & Andy for 211 lbs at Graffiti Bridge.
On the 16th at the beach 5 volunteers picked up 102 lbs!
74 aluminum cans in a pond in GB - ~ 3 pounds
261 lbs was collected at Bob Sikes Bridge and NLO. Volunteers observed less trash compared to past cleanups.

Ocean Hour gave a heads up on a wood dock washed up on the rocks near the Gulf Breeze side of 3 Mile Bridge.

3,000 lbs of lumber on north shore of NLO transferred to dumpster -2,000 lbs waiting to be added! Both ends of Bob Sikes bridge saw 192 lbs, sound side of NLO 215 lbs and 58 lbs at Chico Payou

Seven of the 18 volunteers were from OceanHour with two collecting 61 of the ~400 lbs. The cleanup was promoted by Pensacola & Period Bay Estuary Program
Earlier in the morning, four volunteers picked up 65 lbs of litter along Hwy 90 across Escambia River
Three sites today - Mahogany for 157 lbs by 9 people, 280 lbs at Wayside by 21 volunteers and 152 lbs by 2 guys at Hobo Beach.
